About Us
Family-Owned & Operated
We are a family-owned and operated local hospitality brand. Owners, Keeley and McKenzie OBrien, recently purchased the beautiful Lakeshore Inn in 2022. They intend to maintain the Inn’s beautiful heritage and build upon the property’s offerings and connection to the community with their talented and growing local team.
Our History
The Hotel was built in 1962 as Rivera Apartment Complex. By 1963, the spelling was changed to the Riviera. The Bachelor apartments included one and two-bedroom units that boasted a panoramic view of water sports, a glass enclosed elevator, a heated pool, balconies marketed as “lanais” and Aztec inspired medallions , created by local artist Lloyd Zienier. It was also the tallest building in Lake Oswego at the time.
Lakewood Bay used to be called the Duck Pond and was more of a marsh before The Ladd Estate Company made their most significant transformation in 1928 to create Lakewood Bay and change the name, a channel was added to connect the Bay to Oswego Lake.
